City Libraries in Palo Alto
Our incredible city is home to multiple library locations and continues to expand access to library resources in our community.
Recently, the hours have been extended at Mitchell Park and Rinconada Libraries.
More hours at all locations, a fourth day at Children’s, College Terrace and Downtown
Libraries, and opening on Sundays at Mitchell Park are all in the works!

Bell’s Books
Bell’s Books is a family-owned independent bookstore that’s been serving up unique new, used + rare books for readers since 1935.
Located in downtown Palo Alto, the bookstore’s charm is complete with 2 stories of wonder, curiosity, and historic architecture as well as delightful window displays, incredible collections, and a knowledgeable staff ready to help you find what you’re looking for.

Stanford Campus Libraries
With 20 libraries on campus, there’s a lot of ground to cover! Day passes are required for entry into some campus libraries.
Green Library is one of Stanford University’s most famous libraries with longer open hours, free day passes, and large selection of books + resources. You can register for your free library day passes at Green Library entrances.
