Hotel Accessibility Information
Thank you for considering The Cardinal Hotel for your visit to Palo Alto. We are pleased to provide you with some information regarding our hotel that you may find useful when planning your visit to our hotel.
This boutique hotel was completed in 1924, and charms visitors with its enchanting lobby containing remnants from the past and historical photographs that provide a glimpse into the history of Palo Alto.
The accessible entry is next to the sidewalk, right off Hamilton Ave.
There are no steps between the accessible entry to the main lobby area. The front desk is located in middle of the lobby. Check in is at the reception desk. Should you require a lowered check-in point, a staff member will be happy to provide you with a clip board in order to sign the registration document. Staff is also available to assist you with complimentary coffee and tea.
There are no hotel rooms on the first floor of the hotel. All rooms are accessible by stairs or an elevator. The vintage elevator door is 29 inches wide.
The guestrooms entry door is currently 29 inches wide.
At this time, ADA features in two of our guest rooms include accessible shelving and closet rods. Our safes are located in the closet on a lower shelf for accessibility . The bathtub and toilet have grab bars.
TTY communication devices are available upon request.
In the event a guest with a wheelchair is traveling with his or her aide, please call the Hotel at 650-323-5010, and ask to speak with the manager, or email us at: email@example.com. The Hotel will do its best to provide an adjacent room for an aide.
